What Is Sewage Water Collection?

Sewage water collection is the pumping, removal and transport of sewage and wastewater by vacuum tanker, from properties that are not connected to a mains foul-sewer network or that store waste in an on-site tank. A specialist tanker attends site, vacuums the contents of the tank, and hauls the waste to a government-approved sewage treatment plant for safe disposal.

It is essential for villas and compounds on soakaways, labour and staff accommodation, construction and dewatering sites, farms and stables, mosques and community facilities, and any commercial premises with a sewage holding tank in an area the public network does not yet reach.

Our tankers range from 5,000 to 10,000 gallons, so we can right-size the vehicle to your access and volume — low-clearance units reach basement and podium tanks, while high-capacity tankers clear large commercial and construction volumes in a single trip.

Disposal is the part that matters most for compliance. Every load is discharged only at a municipality-approved treatment facility — the Jebel Ali STP in Dubai, ADSSC-approved sites in Abu Dhabi, and the Sharjah Municipality tanker-discharge facility — using registered, route-tracked vehicles. You get proper, traceable disposal, not fly-tipping.

Sewage Water Collection FAQ

Straight answers on frequency, disposal, pricing and coverage.

How often should a septic or sewage holding tank be emptied? +
It depends on tank size and occupancy. Most residential septic tanks need emptying every 6–12 months, while a well-sized sewage holding tank on a low-occupancy property may last longer. High-occupancy sites — labour camps, busy villas, canteens — often need monthly or fortnightly collection. Signs a tank is due include slow drains, gurgling, odour, and wastewater surfacing near the tank or soakaway. We can recommend a schedule after a free site survey so you never reach overflow.
Where is the collected sewage disposed of? +
Only at government-approved sewage treatment plants. In Dubai, waste is discharged at the Jebel Ali STP by RASID-registered, route-tracked tankers; in Abu Dhabi at ADSSC-approved facilities; and in Sharjah at the municipal tanker-discharge facility. Legal, traceable disposal protects you from the heavy fines that come with illegal dumping — and it is the reason to use a licensed operator rather than an unregistered tanker.
How much does sewage water collection cost in the UAE? +
Pricing is driven by tank volume, tanker size (5,000 vs 10,000 gallon), ease of access and urgency. A single residential tank is a modest fixed fee; large commercial volumes, difficult access or emergency same-day call-outs cost more. Scheduled contracts for regular sites are cheaper per visit than one-off bookings. We give a clear, itemised quote after a free survey — contact us for an exact price for your property.
Do you cover all seven emirates? +
Yes. We provide sewage and wastewater collection across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain — including industrial zones, new developments and non-networked communities. Because we operate nationwide, portfolio clients and FM companies can use one contractor and one set of compliance documentation for sites in every emirate.
Do you offer emergency or same-day sewage removal? +
Yes — we run a 24/7 emergency service for tank overflows, sewage backups and blocked systems. Call our line and we dispatch the nearest available tanker to contain and clear the problem the same day. Emergency response is especially important for occupied buildings, food premises and construction sites where a backup is a health and operational hazard.
What is the difference between a septic tank, a holding tank and a soakaway? +
A septic tank separates solids and partially treats wastewater on site, discharging the liquid to a soakaway; it needs periodic de-sludging. A sewage holding tank simply stores all wastewater with no treatment or outlet, so it must be pumped out regularly by tanker. A soakaway is the underground pit or field that lets treated liquid percolate into the ground — when it clogs or floods, it needs clearing too. We service all three, and can advise which you have if you are unsure.
